Our marble products come from a region in East Java that is well known for marble handicrafts. It has long been a tradition for the younger generation to learn the craft of working marble from the older generation. Only licensed companies are allowed to quarry marble in this area, keeping the ecosystem intact. Marble products are made in three steps: the marble is first pounded, then chiseled into the desired shape and finally polished. The main processing is traditionally done by hand, but sometimes also using special machines.
