Product description

Kupang embellishes your home with its clean lines and the high-quality natural material rattan. It is particularly suitable as a decorative laundry basket or storage space for other textiles such as cushions or blankets, as these are excellently ventilated by the open structure of the basket.

Please note: The sizes are sorted according to the base area, i.e. sizes S and M are high and narrow, L is low and wide.

Measurements & weight:

Length x width x height (without handles)

S: 34x34x37 cm; 0.73 kg
M: 39x39x39 cm; 0.88 kg
L: 43x43x22 cm; 0.65 kg

Due to the production by hand and natural variations in the materials, size and weight may vary slightly from the stated values.

Materials: Rattan

Our baskets are made from plant fibres. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

Rattan palms tend to grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and drawing many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow quickly without any chemical additives, have to be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundantly available material.
