Measurements & weight:

Diameter x height: 35x45 cm
Weight: 2.50 kg

Due to the production by hand and natural variations in the materials, size and weight may vary slightly from the stated values.

Main material: Trembesi (rain tree / monkeypod wood)

Trembesi is also known as the rain tree and can be found widely scattered across Southeast Asia, where it often grows on streets or in parks. Since the tree originally comes from South America, no rainforest has to be cut down to produce wood in Indonesia: the fast-growing tree is usually located in urban areas, where it was planted by human hands as an ornament. In order to limit growth, the sprawling branches are regularly cut and the wood is used for furniture production. Our Trembesi comes from East Java. The wood is relatively similar to teak in terms of its color and structure, but has a significantly better sustainability balance.

Other materials: Rattan
