Product description

With Maluka you can put the finishing touches on your boho-style interior. The ceiling lamp fits in particularly well in homes furnished in natural tones and equipped with accessories made from plant-based materials.

For the bell-shaped lampshade, flat-rolled rattan fibers – an exceptional, rarely used material that is employed exclusively for this model in our range – are woven into a sturdy metal frame. The resulting, airy pattern allows a lot of light to pass through on all sides and thus ensures optimal lighting of your room.

The rattan lamp is available in two different sizes. Size S is particularly compact and perfectly fits into small rooms or over your bedside table. Maluka ships without any additional accessories, but you can find the right bulb and cable in any hardware store.

Measurements & weight:

(diameter (at the widest point) x height)

S: 25x35cm; 0.30kg
M: 35x45cm; 0.56kg

Our products are artfully crafted individual pieces. They may vary slightly in size, color and shape due to the production by hand and natural variations in materials.

Main material: Rattan

Our lampshades are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

Rattan palms tend to grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and drawing many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow back quickly without any chemical additives, must be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundantly available material.
