Product description

Available in two sizes, the round Telu pouf can be used as an additional seat or as a leg rest in your living room. With its low height, it is also very suitable for children - cozy hours of reading are guaranteed.

It is made of raffia fibres, which are patiently woven by experienced artisans with the help of their hands and fine needles, and is filled with cotton and coconut fibres. The production process of the pouf is very lengthy due to the large surface area and the fine material, but it is definitely worth the wait with such an incredibly comfortable and soft result.

Measurements & weight:

Diameter x height:
-55x29 cm; 2,55 kg
-65x29 cm; 4,00 kg

Our products are artfully crafted individual pieces. They may vary slightly in size, color and shape due to the production by hand and natural variations in materials.

Main material: Raffia

Our poufs are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

Raffia (Corypha utan) occurs naturally in the steppe and forest areas of Southeast Asia. About every two years, the plant renews its leaves and sheds the old ones, which are then collected by humans, dried in the sun for a few days to weeks and processed into wickerwork, depending on the desired degree of browning. The relative rarity and the higher processing effort make this material somewhat more expensive compared to other plant fibers. While it is hardly known in Europe, the material has proven itself with the local population in Southeast Asia in the form of all kinds of everyday objects and is very popular due to its pleasantly soft, but robust nature.

Filling: Cotton & Coconut fiber
