Product description

With Lawang you can stow your laundry or other belongings in a stylish basket that is handcrafted with a lot of passion and a sense of proportion. The light, simple colors give the basket a modern touch, so that it blends in harmoniously with matching furnishing styles.

The basket is made of woven seagrass with an embroidered cross pattern made of white cotton. Thanks to the soft, flexible material, the basket adapts to any purpose. The white handles made of recycled plastic add another nice accent.

Measurements & weight:

(Height (without handles) x Diameter)
S: 36x30 cm; 0,89 kg
M: 40x35 cm; 1,25 kg
L: 44x40 cm; 1,35 kg

Our products are artfully crafted individual pieces. They may vary slightly in size, color and shape due to the production by hand and natural variations in materials.

Main material: Seagrass

Our baskets are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

What is usually referred to as “seagrass” by basket makers is actually not an (under) water plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, which are often cultivated by humans, are separated, cut into strips, dried and then processed by hand.

Other materials: Cotton, Recycled Plastic, Nylon Thread
