Bara made of coarsely woven seagrass immediately catches the eye with its playful look. The rectangular rug has soft fringes at the ends that give it that certain something.
You can use the small rug as a runner in the hallway or bathroom, so that the room climate is relaxed a little, but it is also great as a foot flatterer next to the bed. We really like this use, because it wakes our feet up every morning to the pleasantly rough feeling of the seagrass.

Our carpets are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.
What the basket makers usually refer to as “seagrass” is actually not an (under) water plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, which are often cultivated by humans, are separated, cut into strips, dried and then processed by hand.
