Product description

Our filigree rattan basket Rahina is available in three different sizes. For exotic houseplants, it is the perfect planter with its tropical vibe exuding rattan material. The curved pattern in which the rattan is woven gives it a very special charm and makes it an absolute eye-catcher.

Thanks to its generous volume, the robust material and the airy design, the round basket is also perfect for storing laundry that is still damp or in your living room for textiles such as cushions or blankets. Rahina is carefully crafted in small workshops and convinces not only with its high quality, but also with its unique design, which will surely make it one of your favourite pieces in your home.

Measurements & weight:

(Height x diameter of opening / middle / bottom)
S: 25x25/30/21 cm; 0,40 kg
M: 30x35/40/27cm; 0,60 kg
L: 36x44/55/32 cm; 0,90 kg

Our products are artfully crafted individual pieces. They may vary slightly in size, color and shape due to the production by hand and natural variations in materials.

Materials: Rattan

Our baskets are made from plant fibres. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

Rattan palms tend to grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and drawing many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow quickly without any chemical additives, have to be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundantly available material.
